Your search is nobody's business.

JobMap is made by Fullspec Studio LLC ("we," "us"), based in Utah, USA. This policy explains what we collect when you use the JobMap apps and website, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you don't agree with it, please don't use JobMap.

The short version

JobMap keeps the job-search information you enter in a secure cloud account so it syncs across your devices. We use it to run the app for you — nothing more. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your search with recruiters, employers, or data brokers. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Information we collect

Account & profile. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile they share (name and email; Apple may provide a private relay email). Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase — we don't store your Google or Apple password.

The content you add. The heart of JobMap: the companies, roles, and contacts you track (including names, emails, and phone numbers of recruiters or hiring managers you choose to enter), your applications, interviews and prep notes, offers and compensation details, résumés and documents you upload, action items, and reminders.

Device & technical. Very little. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device — there is no push service, and no push token leaves your device. App settings (like your theme) and any API keys you enter are stored locally too. We don't run analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app.

How we use it

To provide and sync JobMap across your devices, authenticate you, send the reminders and notifications you turn on, power in-app features (like résumé import and your personal analytics), respond when you contact us, and keep the service secure and working. We do not use your job-search content for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Where your data lives & who processes it

Your account and content are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on cloud infrastructure in the United States. Access is protected so that only you (and, where required, us for support and security) can reach your data. We rely on a small number of service providers to run JobMap:

• Supabase — database, storage, and authentication.
• Google & Apple — optional sign-in.
• Anthropic — AI résumé import (see below).
• Stripe — if you make a donation. Payments happen on Stripe's page; we never receive your card details.

AI résumé import

If you use AI résumé import, the résumé content you provide is sent to Anthropic to structure it. Anthropic processes it to return a result and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models. This feature is optional — if you don't use it, nothing is sent to Anthropic.

Retention & your choices

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can access and correct everything you've entered in the app at any time, and edit or delete any individual record. To remove your entire account and everything in it, use Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, which takes effect immediately — or the account deletion request page if you'd rather we handle it. For a copy of your data, email us. We action those within 30 days; your content is removed from our live systems, and residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to know, access, and delete. We honor these for all users. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those laws define it.

Security

We protect your data in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS), restrict access to your account, and work with reputable providers. No online service can be 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

Children & international users

JobMap isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. JobMap is operated from the United States; if you use it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For material changes, we'll give you reasonable notice.
